Health, Safety,
Environment & Quality

At Metatap Group, HSE is not a compliance requirement — it is a core value embedded in how we plan, execute, and close every project.

Our Commitment

HSE Is Our First Priority on Every Project

All incidents are preventable. Every project is planned with a formal risk assessment, method statements, and a project-specific HSE plan reviewed and approved before mobilisation.

  • Formal risk assessment and HAZID for every project scope
  • Project-specific HSE plans and emergency response procedures
  • Daily toolbox talks and pre-task safety briefings
  • Permit-to-work system compliance on all controlled activities
  • Incident reporting, investigation, and root cause analysis
  • Regular HSE audits and management walkabouts

Our Approach

The Six Pillars of Our HSE Culture

Leadership Commitment
HSE commitment starts at the top. Senior leadership participates in site visits, HSE reviews, and incident investigations. Safety performance is a key leadership KPI.
Competency & Training
All personnel hold current, verified competencies for their roles. Training records are maintained and refresher training scheduled proactively before expiry.
Risk Management
Formal HAZID, HAZOP, and JSA processes identify and control hazards before work begins. Risk assessments are reviewed when scope or conditions change.
Incident Reporting
All incidents, near-misses, and unsafe acts are reported without blame and investigated to root cause. Corrective actions tracked and lessons learned shared.
Environmental Stewardship
Environmental impact assessed for every project. Waste segregation, spill prevention plans, and environmental monitoring are standard on all Metatap sites.
Continuous Improvement
HSE performance metrics reviewed monthly. Trends in near-misses, observations, and audit findings drive continuous improvement across the business.
Quality Assurance

Quality Built In, Not Inspected In

Quality Planning
Project quality plans for every contract, defining ITPs, hold and witness points, and documentation requirements.
Inspection & Testing
Structured ITP execution with documented inspection records. Hold points require client or third-party witness before proceeding.
Document Control
Controlled document management ensuring drawings, procedures, and records are current and archived for the required retention period.
NCR Management
Formal NCR process for identifying, segregating, and dispositioning non-conforming materials. Root cause analysis for all systemic issues.
